The Games Ecosystem is coordinated by Cnam-Enjmin, France’s leading school for Video Games and Digital Interactive Media. For over two decades, it has been a driving force in educating and inspiring new generations of game designers, developers, artists, and storytellers. Today, it is recognised as one of Europe’s most influential centres for innovation in game creation and immersive media.
The ecosystem is developed in close collaboration with Pôle créatif Magelis, a cornerstone of the French creative industries, which has built a thriving hub for animation, comics, cinema, and video games. It is further supported by the company Ubisoft Paris, and the associated partner BoCAJ, all contributing to the ecosystem’s strength in applied research and industry engagement.
Within the AVENUE project, the Games Ecosystem focuses on continuously addressing emerging challenges and skill mismatches in the gaming field. Through ongoing, practice-based research, it aims to provide relevant and immediate upskilling opportunities, foster excellence in vocational education and training, support innovation, and promote inclusion across the creative sector.
Cnam-Enjmin is the prestigious French National School that has been training students for all video game development professions since 2001. Part of Cnam (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers), the school has strong ties with industry and research partners, and offers qualifications from bachelor’s to post-master’s.
